How far can you get in 90 minutes?
Osaka Fasthacks is a one-night hacknight for people who’d rather ship something rough than plan something perfect. You’ll form a team, pick an idea, and use AI tools to take it from nothing to a working demo before the night is over — then show it to the room.
No week-long grind, no overnight session. Show up after work, build, demo, go home.
This is the first in a new OKTech hackathon series. Kansai has two strong developer communities — one Japanese-speaking, one English-speaking — and they don’t cross paths nearly often enough. We’re building this series to change that: bringing founders and AI engineers from both sides into the same room to learn from each other, build together, and put the Kansai developer scene on the map. Start as you mean to go on, so come help us set the tone.
Bilingual by design. Japanese and English are both welcome — at the mic, in your team, and in your demo. You don’t need to be fluent in the other one; mixed teams are the point, and AI is a surprisingly good translator when you get stuck.
Who it’s for
Founders, AI engineers, developers, designers, product people, and students — anyone building with AI or curious about it. Beginners genuinely welcome. Come solo and we’ll help you find a team at the kickoff; we’ll happily pair you with people you wouldn’t otherwise have met.
What to bring
A laptop, a charger, and an idea (optional — we’ll have prompts on the night). Have your environment and AI tooling set up beforehand; all project code gets written on the night, prior projects will be penalized.
The theme will be announced one week before the event, so you have time to think. Team-forming opens in our Discord ahead of the night.

Osaka Fasthacks ⚡（日本語）
90分で、どこまで作れるか。
Osaka Fasthacks は、完璧な計画よりも「まずは動くものを作りたい」という人のための、一夜限りのハックナイトです。
チームを組み、アイデアを選び、AIツールを使ってゼロから動くデモを作り、その場で発表します。
何週間もかけた開発も、徹夜も必要ありません。仕事帰りに集まって、作って、見せて、楽しむ。アイデアを形にする楽しさを、一晩に詰め込みました。
今回は、OKTech が主催する新しいハッカソンシリーズの第1回です。
関西には、日本語・英語それぞれで活発に活動する開発者コミュニティがあります。一方で、普段使う言語やバックグラウンドが異なると、出会い、一緒にものを作る機会はまだ限られています。
このシリーズでは、言語やバックグラウンドを越えて、起業家やAIエンジニア、開発者、デザイナーなど、ものづくりに関心のある人がつながる場を作っていきます。
一緒に手を動かし、互いに学びながら、関西のテックコミュニティを盛り上げていく。その第一歩を、一緒に踏み出しましょう。
使用言語
日本語・英語のどちらでも参加できます。
チーム内の会話も発表も、どちらの言語でも大丈夫です。両方を流暢に話せる必要はありません。日本語・英語の混成チームも歓迎します。
必要に応じてAI翻訳ツールも活用しながら、普段使う言語の異なるメンバーと一緒にものを作ることも、このイベントで大切にしたい体験の一つです。

- 作ってみたいアイデア（任意。当日もアイデアのヒントをご用意します）
開発環境やAIツールのセットアップは、事前に済ませてお越しください。
開発テーマは開催1週間前に発表します。
当日までにアイデアを考えたり、 OKTech の Discord でチームメンバーを探したりすることもできます。
なお、プロジェクトのコードは当日、会場で作成していただきます。 事前に作成したプロジェクトを持ち込むことはできません。
