Right after the Gion Festival, join us as we tackle one of the greatest problems in software development.

Many tools have attempted to solve dependency management. Maven, pip, Composer, npm, Cargo, Conda, and Chocolatey, to name just a few. Today, we want to celebrate these tools and take a closer look at how they work.

Chris will be spearheading the event by presenting the “latest and greatest”: Nix. It’s designed to make installing software on your machine much more reliable.

Note: We have an open call for speakers! If there is a specific aspect of dependency systems you would like to speak about for 10–20 minutes, please leave a comment on Meetup or in Discord.
